what are the differences between "Full design" and "hourly" Services?
Think of the “Full-Design” service as an all inclusive package for all your design needs from the beginning to the completion of the space.
“Hourly” services are more à la carte and are for specific services (e.g picking paint colors or furniture layout schemes). With this service, I will give you set amount of hours to complete the requested service.
How is the "full design" fee determined?
The all inclusive fee is primarily based on square footage and type of room(s). More bespoke finishes and materials will also impact the fee.
For “Hourly” services, what if I need additional help with other design-related tasks?
If you need additional help that is beyond what is outlined in the contract, please reach out and I will give you an estimate of how many hours I will need to accomplish the task(s). You will need to sign off on the additional hours first before I start the additional work.
What should I know about communicating with you?
I respond to all correspondence on weekdays. Email is best, you can text me if needed. Any messages sent on Fridays will likely not receive a response until the following Monday.
Do you help with the hiring of contractors?
I can make some recommendations for a contractor or/and a tradesperson. It will ultimately be your responsibility in the vetting and hiring of these professionals, but we can discuss the contracts, scope of services, and pricing.
What are my responsibilities as a client within the design process?
The client is responsible for providing access to the property, prompt decision-making, and timely payment as per the agreed-upon schedule. If you are unhappy with certain aspects of the design, please relay that information to me as soon as possible so we can come to a solution.
